Sales Tax Holiday Personal Loan

Two Tennessee State Sales Tax Holidays Coming Up

On the weekend of July 31 through August 2, Tennessee is waiving sales tax on selected goods that people may need for back to school:

  • clothing
  • electronics
  • school and art supplies

And, spending thresholds are higher than in previous years. For a full list of items eligible for the sales tax waiver, click here.

The Second Tax Free weekend will focus on restaurant sales, and should offer us a great opportunity to support our local restaurants.

Reopening Lobbies with Care

Reopening Our Lobbies with Care

Beginning Monday, May 18, Enbright Credit Union will begin opening its lobbies on a staggered schedule.

Distancing rules, facecoverings, and temperature checks will be employed. Here’s the plan…

Indian Lake Branch — Beginning Monday, May 18, the lobby will be open regular business hours.

Downtown NES Branch — The lobby will be open regular business hours starting Tuesday, May 26. Enbright is closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

Donelson Branch — The lobby will remain closed until tornado repairs can be completed, but the drive-up teller will remain open to assist members.

Rules for Entering Lobby
Each branch will have a limit (posted on the door) for the number of persons allowed inside the building. Once the limit is reached inside the branch, members will be asked to wait outside; as one person leaves the branch, another may enter. Members must wear face coverings to enter; masks are not provided. An employee will be posted at the branch entrance to take temperatures and ask a few questions. Members will be asked to remove their face coverings briefly, for identification, before entering the lobby.

If the transaction can be completed at the drive-up, please use that service instead. And, as always, Online Banking and Mobile Banking are available to you.

It is our desire to protect the safety and health of all members and employees. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we go through this situation together.

Be well, and stay safe.

Special Announcement from Enbright President

March 20, 2020
Updated May 12, 2020

Letter from the President of Enbright Credit Union
Regarding Our COVID-19 Plan

Good day all,

UPDATE: Enbright will begin re-opening branch lobbies, on a staggered schedule, beginning Monday, May 18. We have put in place social distancing practices, temperature checks, and the requirement of a face covering to enter a branch lobby. This is for your safety and the safety of our staff. Thank you for your understanding and participation. Click here for information.

I want to talk to you today about the actions we have taken to protect you, your family, our team members, and their families’ health. As of Monday, March 23, 2020, our Indian Lake and Donelson branches will be open and available but service will be limited to the drive-up tellers and ATMs only. Our Downtown branch will only be open to persons who have access to the NES building. This measure has been taken to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) being transferred to you, your family, and our team members. The branch lobby closures will be re-evaluated on April 3, 2020. If the situation has improved and it is safe for you and our team members, we will re-open our lobbies. However, if the health and safety of the public and our staff are still in question, the lobbies will remain closed until it is safe for everyone. We will be evaluating the situation on a weekly basis and updating you on any changes that occur.

Please watch this space, your email, and our Facebook page for updates.

You should know that you have other opportunities to conduct your business with Enbright Credit Union. Our ATM Network CU24, the Enbright website Online Banking, and our mobile app are available to you. Also, you can call our main number and speak to any of our branch team members, and you can call our voice response system Teller Line. I encourage you to take advantage of all of our services and I would ask that you be patient with us during these unprecedented and challenging times. Should you have a need to visit one of our branch lobbies in person, please call us to discuss your situation and, if we can, we will make an appointment for you to meet with an Enbright team member.

We are here to serve you and to provide assistance to you and your family—not only during this outbreak of the Coronavirus, but also to members who have been impacted by the March tornado. Please call us if we can help you and your family in any way, and thank you from myself and all of the team members for being a member of Enbright Credit Union.

Sincerely,

Ron Smith
