Special Announcement from Enbright President

March 20, 2020
Updated May 12, 2020

Letter from the President of Enbright Credit Union
Regarding Our COVID-19 Plan

Good day all,

UPDATE: Enbright will begin re-opening branch lobbies, on a staggered schedule, beginning Monday, May 18. We have put in place social distancing practices, temperature checks, and the requirement of a face covering to enter a branch lobby. This is for your safety and the safety of our staff. Thank you for your understanding and participation. Click here for information.

I want to talk to you today about the actions we have taken to protect you, your family, our team members, and their families’ health. As of Monday, March 23, 2020, our Indian Lake and Donelson branches will be open and available but service will be limited to the drive-up tellers and ATMs only. Our Downtown branch will only be open to persons who have access to the NES building. This measure has been taken to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) being transferred to you, your family, and our team members. The branch lobby closures will be re-evaluated on April 3, 2020. If the situation has improved and it is safe for you and our team members, we will re-open our lobbies. However, if the health and safety of the public and our staff are still in question, the lobbies will remain closed until it is safe for everyone. We will be evaluating the situation on a weekly basis and updating you on any changes that occur.

Please watch this space, your email, and our Facebook page for updates.

You should know that you have other opportunities to conduct your business with Enbright Credit Union. Our ATM Network CU24, the Enbright website Online Banking, and our mobile app are available to you. Also, you can call our main number and speak to any of our branch team members, and you can call our voice response system Teller Line. I encourage you to take advantage of all of our services and I would ask that you be patient with us during these unprecedented and challenging times. Should you have a need to visit one of our branch lobbies in person, please call us to discuss your situation and, if we can, we will make an appointment for you to meet with an Enbright team member.

We are here to serve you and to provide assistance to you and your family—not only during this outbreak of the Coronavirus, but also to members who have been impacted by the March tornado. Please call us if we can help you and your family in any way, and thank you from myself and all of the team members for being a member of Enbright Credit Union.

Sincerely,

Ron Smith
President/CEO/CSO

Stimulus Money is Coming. How Can You Use It?

If you’re one of the Americans who will be receiving part of the $2 trillion in stimulus money, you’ve probably already thought about some ways to use it. Here are a few thoughts just for Enbright Credit Union members.

Save Some.

That’s exactly what a credit union would say, right? But it’s good advice. If you don’t have immediate plans for it, stash it in a savings account. Our recommendation? Open a separate savings under your membership. Keeping your funds separate from other funds will help, and you can grab some and transfer it to other accounts as needed. You can even name your account something special in Online Banking. If you want to open a separate savings under your account, click here. We’ll send you the documents for your e-signature and get the account ready for you without you ever leaving home.

Spend Some.

There are some great deals online right now. Do a little online shopping. Your favorite stores are selling online and rolling out great discounts. Visit their websites, sign up for e-mails and you can take advantage of great deals.

Buy a Newer Car.

Most of the dealers in our network are still open, displaying their inventory online and making arrangements for test drives and delivery. Click here to see members of our dealer network and check out their inventory online. Dealers in our network can handle your loan with us remotely.

Start Home Improvements.

Nothing spurs home improvement creativity like being stuck in your home. Find some great ideas on Pinterest and put together a budget for your improvements. Stimulus money will be great for new furniture and appliances. If you’ll be needing more, a Home Equity Loan or mortgage refinance can provide the cash you’ll need. To get that started from home, click here and we’ll contact you.

How We Can Help.

How We Can Help

We know that you are going through uncertain and often stressful times. First, Middle Tennessee had devasting tornadoes, and now all of us are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 virus. While we expect that the federal government will provide some relief to individuals, families, and businesses both large and small, we also want to help where we can.

If You Currently Have a Loan with Enbright
Changing circumstances may put additional pressure on the finances of your family or your business. We strongly urge that, if you are uncertain you can make a regularly scheduled loan payment, you speak with us before the payment’s due date. We want to work with you to keep you on track and not negatively affect your credit score.

If You Own a Business
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has both regular loans and disaster loans. We have a dedicated SBA Loan Specialist ready to walk you through the process if an SBA loan is right for you.

As a result of the COVID-19 virus situation, the SBA is extending
its lending capabilities to homeowners and
private nonprofit organizations ~ not just business owners.

Before you contact the SBA, call us for assistance.

Please note that Enbright Credit Union is not an SBA Paycheck Protection Program Lender.

Enbright Has Options
As always, we provide a range of sources for the money you need, and we offer flexibility and convenience not always available elsewhere. For example, we offer an Express Loan for when you need cash fast. Please check out our lending options.

We appreciate your patience.

PLEASE NOTE: Our lobbies at both the Donelson and Hendersonville branches are closed; we will let you know when we have been cleared to re-open them. Both drive-ups are open at those branches. For the downtown branch, only those with NES access may visit the lobby. We know this can be an inconvenience, but there are several online and telephone options for you. Please read the recent announcement.

I’m a Member for Life.

Claudia Lizardi has been a credit union member at Enbright for four years.  She had always been happy with her credit union’s service, but when she stopped by the credit union in Donelson on a Saturday and met Laura Medico, she really felt like she belonged.

“Laura just made us feel incredibly welcome.” Said Claudia.  “She was friendly and professional, but also just so very kind.” The Lizardis had stopped by the credit union to talk to someone about an auto loan. While talking to Laura, Claudia mentioned had used the credit union for her own accounts, but her children had accounts at a large bank, and she wasn’t happy with what they were earning.  Laura helped Claudia get the accounts moved to Enbright, where they’re very happy with their new dividends, and can continue building their savings for the future.

Claudia, who works in the customer service field herself, said that good service like Laura delivered comes from the soul.  “Laura made us feel welcome; like we had already known her. I’ll be a member for life.”

Bill Pay What’s New

On July 11, Enbright will be moving to a new enhanced Bill Pay service. Due to the conversion related to that move, Bill Pay will be down from 4pm on Tuesday, July 9 to the AM hours of Thursday, July 11.  If you have bills scheduled for payment during that time, they will continue to be paid as scheduled. You will not be able to schedule new bills during that time.

What’s New about Bill Pay.

Hang on to your money a bit longer. With our new bill pay, your account is debited when the merchant is paid, not days before.

Last minute? No Problem.  Now you can schedule payments for same day or next day transaction for an extra charge.  No charge for payment dates beyond tomorrow. You choose the date you want the merchant to receive the money.

Easy to Find. Bill Pay has its own tab in your Online Banking/Mobile Banking.

Get Your Bills Electronically.  Many merchants will deliver e-bills directly to you through your Bill Pay.  You can check your merchants to see who participates.

What’s the Same.

If you’re already a bill pay user, your bill payment merchants and recurring payments will all be in the new system already.  You can begin scheduling new payments right away on the 11th.

Pay at least 6 bills monthly and your bill payment service is free.

Bill Pay is available from a desktop or mobile device.

Set up recurring payments when your billing amount is the same each month.
